THE MEAN WAITRESS
is moving her long, lizard-like physique across the street to the rival dining establishment, where Krystelle waits for her on the front stoop. The two women have a quick conversation. When Krystelle hands over a few bucks, it becomes clear that the mean waitress is serving as her eyes and ears at Lemuel's.

"Mind your own business, Trashy Trishy," says Melvin. "To help you do that, I'm removing you from mine. Clean out your mind and your locker."

The ex-bus girl gasps, runs out the door, and brushes past the eavesdropping fry cook. He drops his basket of onion rings and dogs her steps, more out of curiosity than compassion.
