Spencer's new business skills
get him promoted to assistant manager,
as he emulates America's master geniuses.


IN HIS LIVING ROOM that night, Spencer sits among devotional candles at his shrine to famous killer Ted Bundy. He inches, letter by letter, through the library books.

Taped on the wall are newspaper clippings about Ted Bundy's "career." One features a picture of this psycho in his law school days. The headline reads:

GIFTED BUNDY DREW UP
EXQUISITE LEGAL BRIEFS

MR. NUSSBAUM'S WISDOM continues to re-echo in Spencer's head:

"Most importantly of all, my friend, knowledge of the law will enhance your love of humanity."

Thumb-tacked nearby is a police photo of one of Bundy's victims. Her head has been bashed out of shape with a tree branch.

Spencer, his own head reeling from all the hard studying, stares at this gruesome splatter shot. Suddenly, he sees it morphing into Lemmy the Lemur.

He jumps up, dashes over to the red vinyl couch, and starts whacking away at his laptop. He's working on the revamped Lemmy that he began while waiting for little Harvey to come out of the Music Conservatory.
